Microsoft Popfly built on SIliverlight technology let’s you create cool mashup’s in less than 5 mins. The best thing about Popfly is that it does not need any additonal software, and can be completely made on the website. The popfly blocks leverage the web2.0 services like Facebook, Digg, Twitter & Virtual Earth. So if you are in a mood to create an interesting web service, popfly might be the thing you are looking for.

Steps for creating your first popfly application:

1.) Go to http://www.popfly.com

2.) Sign in with your Windows Live ID

3.) Go to Create–> Mashup and choose your data services block

4.)Drag & Drop your popfly blocks to the Mashup Designer.

5.) Connect your blocks

6.) Click on the wrench and set the input values.

7.) Click on advanced view to tweak your code.

You are all set to share your first mashup on the web, click on share and embed it to your Facebook Page.
